Suzy Shelley, Sustainability & Materials Lead, presents at Pentawards Festival.
Founded in 2007, Pentawards is a leading platform and community for packaging design. After launching its first in-person festival held last September, it will host its second annual event at the Science Museum in London on November 9th, inviting the industry to learn more about the latest challenges in design and prepare their businesses for their next projects.
At the core of the festival is a programme of talks and workshops. This includes speeches from some of our industry’s leading brands and experts, including our very own Sustainability & Materials Lead, Suzy Shelley, from our London studio.
Suzy will be taking to the stage to present: “The Brand Journey to Sustainability: Positive Progress Through Marginal Gains.”
In the quest for sustainability, Suzy will explore how many brands feel pressure to overhaul their packaging strategies, but the fear of high costs stalls progress. Based on the insight that a mere 1% daily improvement translates into a staggering 37-fold progress over a year, Suzy will discuss how brands can challenge themselves to embark on a journey of sustainable evolution over revolution – inspired by the incredible results achieved from marginal gains.
Suzy will be joined by familiar names from TikTok, Wired, Pantone, Patagonia and Transport for London, as well as lead keynote speaker Steven Bartlett – entrepreneur and host of The Diary of a CEO podcast. These experts will aim to leave listeners with three key takeaways to apply in their practice.
